Try a new winter sport that is fun, adrenaline-pumping and accessible to everyone. The Snowkite is in fact the "on snow" version of Kitesurfing: propelled by the wind, you move across the white surface on a snowboard or skis, controlling the kite by means of a bar.
An exciting activity that has already won over a large number of snow-loving sportsmen and women. You can now try it out on the Tonale Pass in the province of Trento, with a private 3-hour basic course from an expert instructor.
With Snowkite, you can whizz across the snow of the Trentino mountains with just the help of the wind, without the need for lifts. You will no longer have to endure long waits in line for the chairlift, forget the crowded slopes and use every minute of your time to have fun in freedom!
What we will do
You will meet your instructor on the Tonale Pass, in the province of Trento. The course will alternate betweentheory and practice and will guarantee you maximum enjoyment by imparting lessons and techniques. First you will learn about snowkiting equipment (provided by the school and included in the course fee), learning how to handle a small kite so that you can get to grips with it and fall in love with this overwhelming discipline right away.
The aim of the course is to learn how to control the kite and make your first attempts at riding. After a series of exercises to get used to holding the correct position, you will clip on your boots to your skis or snowboard and begin to experience the unique sensation of being windborne down mountain slopes. The instructor's passion and experience will be invaluable in getting you into the sport in the best possible way and in total safety.

Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is suitable for everyone from 10 years old upwards. Snowkiting experience is not required, but familiarity with skis or a snowboard is necessary.
Other information
This activity is bookable January to April and consists of a private lesson "one to one" with an instructor.
Ski, snowboard and helmet (compulsory) are not provided by the school. In the vicinity of the meeting point there are a number of affiliated shops where you can hire them.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
