Experience the thrill of an adventure between water and rock following the course of the Torno Torrent, in the National Park of Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni. Explore natural places that are normally inaccessible thanks to an amazing canyoning route.
An expert guide will let you experience the thrill of verticality. Natural slides, plunges into crystal-clear pools, and abseiling down rock walls are just some of the ingredients that will make this canyoning excursion truly unique.
The route will alternate progressions in a river environment and stretches of trekking in an enchanting setting just a couple of hours from Salerno.
What we will do
We will meet at 9:00 in Postiglione, in the province of Salerno, two minutes from the Contursi-Postiglione motorway exit. After meeting the guides and the rest of the group, we will have a briefing on progression techniques and safety rules to be followed during the canyoning route. We will be given the necessary equipment, rehearse with the equipment, and then travel by minibus to the starting point of the excursion, which is about an hour's drive away.
At the Vallone Torno, the experience will begin with a walk through the wilderness of the Parco del Cilento, Vallo di Diano e Alburni. Once on the torrent, the real canyoning route will begin: a succession of winding bends created by the incessant work of the water between the rocks. We will tackle rope descents along the walls, dive from rocky spurs, swim across some stretches, let the water carry us over the natural slides and feel the rush of the current in the rapids and creeks.
The route is about 5 km in length, with a descent of about 200 m. On leaving the canyon, we will find the minibus that will take us back to the meeting point. The activity lasts 5 hours in total.
.Who it is aimed at
This activity is at anintermediate level. No canyoning experience is necessary but you must be able to swim at least 50 metres and not suffer from vertigo. The minimum age to participate is 14 years.

Warning! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure time.
The activity takes place March to July and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
The rafting centre is equipped with toilets, changing rooms and storage boxes.
It is possible to purchase photos of the activity at a cost of €30 per group (to be requested and paid for on site).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
