If you are looking for a exciting adventure and want to spend half a day in close contact with nature exploring unspoilt environments between water and rock, canyoning is for you!
Together with an expert guide, you will descend along the course of the Rio Lerca, a stream flowing in the Beigua Natural Park, between the mountains and seas of Liguria.
Prepare to rope down waterfalls and rock walls, dive into crystal-clear pools and let yourself go on the toboga, the natural slides carved by the flow of water.
This and much more for the funniest river activity, on an exciting course for young and old, suitable even for beginners.
What we will do
We will meet at 9:00 am in Case Soprane, in Arenzano (GE). First, the guide will provide us with the technical equipment we need and help us get dressed. After that we will conduct a briefing on the safety rules and progression techniques that we will use along the route. When we are ready, we will head towards the torrent via a steep and sunny path that will take about 40 minutes of walking.
At the Rio Lerca, the exertions of the walk will be repaid by the unspoilt natural landscape, fascinating and wild, that we will find before our eyes. We will begin to descend along its course, walking on rocky boulders or within the stream's flow, until we encounter enchanting crystal-clear pools in which to dive and enjoy the freshness and purity of the emerald waters.
We will encounterdeep gorges,rock walls and waterfalls to cross with the aid of a rope and let ourselves go on theslides, the natural slides created by erosion due to the incessant flow of water over rocks.
The guide will always be at our side to give usassistance and support and to push us to overcome all the obstacles we encounter in the safest and most enjoyable way (there will be the possibility of going around them by a more comfortable route).
The hike on the Rio Lerca requires a length of time of between 3 to 4 hours, depending on the number and level of participants. The activity has a total duration of approximately 5 hours and ends with the return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is easy level and is open to everyone, from 6 years of age. No previous experience is necessary and it is not compulsory to know how to swim (a life jacket will be provided on request). Just be in good health and have good aquatic skills.

Beware! Please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of the start time.
This activity takes place June to October and is confirmed when there are minimum 6 people.
During the activity you cannot wear rings and, if you wear glasses, you will need to fasten them so that you do not lose them. It would be better to wearcontact lenses.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
