Full description
Leave for an incredible day of sport and nature in the stunning setting of the Amalfitan Coast. You will practice climbing on a cliff face overhanging the sea. Forbidden to suffer from vertigo!
The lesson is held by a Certified UIAGM Mountain Guide, the only figure qualified to teach professional climbing in the natural environment, and is dedicated to those who want to discover this fantastic discipline or who want to improve their technique.
You are welcome even if you are your first climbing experience. This activity will catapult you into the fascinating world of climbers and let you admire amazing landscapes from privileged viewpoints that only the bravest have access to!
What we will do
We will meet at 9:00 in Vietri sul Mare (SA), a beautiful town at the gateway to the Amalfitan Coast. We will meet the mountaineering guide and with a short trekking route we will approach the rock wall that will host our climbing lesson.
At the site we will begin with the theoretical part. The guide will explain in detail the functioning of the equipment and the knots, which are fundamental for carrying out any climbing trip safely, and will instruct us on the principles and the motor patterns of climbing, so that we can approach climbing with awareness and efficiency from the very beginning.
Then we will move on to the practical part by performing balance and reciprocal control exercises, rope tests and belay tests with approved equipment. Finally, when we feel ready, we will start climbing the rock face following different climbing routes, chosen by the guide according to the participants' level of experience.
The lesson will end at around 15:00. In total, we will spend 6 hours together, during which we will make stops for something to eat and for any other needs.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of intermediate level. It is not necessary to have previous experience, but good general physical fitness is required.

Warning! Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time of the activity.
The activity is bookable all year round for at least 2 participants. In the event of adverse weather conditions, the activity may be changed or suspended (you will be notified by your guide).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
