Try out a new winter sport and experience the snow and mountain dimension to the full with a 3-hour snowkite course in pairs.
Together with a CSEN-certified instructor you will learn how to freak on the snowy surface using the power of the wind to inflate your kite sail. Just like kitesurfing, but in a winter version!
If you have already tried this sport and are able to manage the kite on your own, you will refine your technique and start practising more advanced manoeuvres, including jumps!
Select the right friend to share emotions and adrenaline with, and set off for your own snowkiting experience on Passo del Tonale!
What we will do
The pair snowkite course takes place in Location Ospizio, Passo del Tonale (TN). After meeting with the instructor, you will begin with a short briefing to assess your level and objectives.
If you are a neophyte and have never picked up a kite before, the first part of the lesson will be theoretical and will serve to introduce you to the world of this sport, to learn how to recognise wind trajectories and to control the kite using the bar. The aim of the course will be to be able to practice your first snowkite rides.
If you have already practised snowkiting before, you will determine together with the instructor which points to focus on. You will decide whether to review the basics in order to consolidate and refine your technique or whether to embark on more advanced manoeuvres such as ascending slopes, over bumps and jumps.
In any case, the lesson will be adapted to your level and will allow you to learn or improve very quickly. The course has a 3-hour duration and is aimed at pairs of participants who have already mastered skiing or snowboarding.
Who it is aimed at
This activity ranges from an easy to advanced level, depending on the participants' skills and experience. No previous snowkiting experience is required, but good technique and mastery on skis or snowboards is a must. You can participatefrom 12 years of age.

Beware! Please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of the chosen start time of the activity.
This activity is bookable January to April and consists of a private pair lesson with an instructor.
Ski, snowboard and helmet (compulsory) are not provided by the school. Near the meeting point there are a number of affiliated shops where they can be hired.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
