A pleasant bike ride that combines sport and relaxation, fun and tourism. This and much more is our E-bike & Wine tour, which begins in Castiglione della Pescaia and winds through the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
Along a path suitable for everyone, in the saddle of assisted pedal cycles, we will discover the beauty of these places. The colours, the scent of nature and the beauty of an enchanting landscape, celebrated as one of the most exciting landscapes in the boot of Italy.
The pedals will take us to the Marchesi Antinori's Le Mortelle winery, where we will stop to taste a glass of wine and some organic zero-mileage fruit.
An experience that skilfully blends physical activity and comfort, satisfies the senses and makes for a truly enjoyable day.
What we will do
We will meet at our rental point in the centre of Castiglione della Pescaia, in the province of Grosseto, where the pedal-assisted bikes will be assigned (rental included in the participation fee).
Our guides will give a short introduction to the tour with advice on how to manoeuvre the e-bikes. The route is easy and suitable for everyone and, at the discretion of the guides who will assess the abilities of the participants, may vary in length and altitude to ensure the best possible experience for the group.
We will set off from Castiglione della Pescaia and after just a few hundred metres take the white roads with little traffic that will take us into the typical Castiglione countryside, rich in olive groves, sunflower fields and vineyards.
We will pedal along a flat route to reach the Le Mortelle winery owned by Marchesi Antinori. After a short tour around the estate, a look at the vineyards and orchards, we will stop under the mulberry trees in the beautiful garden to enjoy a glass of wine and some zero-mileage organic fruit.
Who it is aimed at
Thanks to the pedal-assisted bicycles, the degree of fatigue can be eased according to the needs of each individual participant, so it really is a tour for everyone!
Other information
Before departure you can leave your bags in our depot and collect them on the way back.
The route is mainly on secondary and country roads, only at the beginning and end of the tour the road is a bit busy and you will have to stay in single file, as per the Highway Code.
This activity takes placefrom April to November. In the summer months it is advisable to book in the early morning hours or from 17:00 onwards.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
