Full description
Use the raft to ride the waves of the most exciting rapids: a simple and affordable means for everyone to enjoy an unforgettable experience.
What we will do
Before the descent, the Guide will instruct the crew and illustrate manoeuvres and safety measures in order to introduce even the most inexperienced to the main techniques of river navigation.
TheBaptism Top programme includes 6 km of navigation along the Dora Baltea, enriching the Baptism experience by remaining in Valdigne.
Leaving from our base after the 3km stretch of river between Morgex and La Salle, we will transfer with our shuttles upstream of our base to embark below Pré Saint Didier covering a further 3km of a single rapid on a grade 3 difficulty grade.
The total duration of the activity is 2 and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
An ideal trip for those who have never been rafting, team building and families. The minimum age to participate is 10 years. No special skills are required, only good aquatics. You can participate with a weight under 125 kg.

Important: you need to arrive at the meeting point with 15 minutes in advance of the time chosen for the activity!
The activity is bookable from May to September. The rain is never a problem, in fact it raises the water level and makes the river even more fun! Once you have finished your descent there will be a nice hot shower waiting for you.
Additional services to be requested on site from the instructor before starting the activity:
- photo service (on a USB stick, €25 per crew)
- video service (full footage via email €20, custom video editing €30, price per crew)
. You also have free access to the equipped area for barbecues and picnics, with gas and a shaded seating area (you can bring what you want to cook from home or, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive our contact details and we can arrange and take care of your lunch).
The centre is equipped with 12 hot showers and changing rooms for men and women,
video-monitored parking, free WiFi at our base and safe-keeping of valuables.
Those who have a dog with them can leave it in the rafting centre (free of charge).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
