If you want to have an adrenaline-fuelled experience and feel as free as a hawk soaring through the sky, you absolutely cannot miss the thrill of a paragliding flight.
Taking off from Castel San Giorgio, in the province of Salerno, you will admire the astonishing nature of the Appennino Campano from above, with the Vesuvius on the horizon in all its majesty.
Flying in a tandem together with an experienced pilot, you won't have to worry about anything except enjoying the flight to the full and allowing yourself to be pervaded by an incredible mix of sensations. It will be unforgettable!
What we will do
You will meet the pilot at the exit of the motorway exit of Castel San Giorgio (SA) and together you will go to the take-off point located on top of a hill that will act as a "springboard" for the paragliding flight.
First you will conduct a briefing on the principles of paragliding and the rules of behaviour for flying in comfort and safety. After that, having prepared the equipment and slinging the harness, it will be time to take off. It will take only a few steps downhill to take flight, and before you know it you will be floating in the air!
The sensation will be indescribable and the view marvellous: you will have before you the Vesuvian plain, surrounded by the mountains of the Appennino Campano and the heights covered in thick green forests. Rising majestically on the horizon will be the Vesuvius and, on a clear day, the view will extend as far as the Gulf of Naples.
The flight will last between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on the intensity of the ascending currents, which will slow the paraglider's descent to a soft landing. Considering the preparation time, the activity will last a total of approximately 1.5 hours and will end with the return to the meeting point.

Paragliding is possible all year round but is strictly dependent on weather and wind conditions. The course and time of the flight will be confirmed by the pilot the day before, after checking the latest weather report.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
