Experience the thrill of a balloon flight over the Sabina Hills, in the Lazio hinterland. A delightful trip that will allow you to admire the millenary ruins ofRoman archaeological sites from above, and then continue towards the Tiber River and the countryside surrounding the capital.
Flying in a hot-air balloon is an extraordinary experience, to be enjoyed at least once in one's life to discover the pleasure of being transported by the wind aboard the wicker basket and to look out over the world from a new perspective, experiencing the incredible sensation of "floating" in the air.
The ground crew and the experienced pilots will give you an unforgettable moment, to be enjoyed to the full without any worries other than capturing the beautiful views. You will be amazed!
.What we will do
We will meet at Otricoli, not far from Magliano Sabina (RI), where the crew will welcome us and give us all the instructions necessary for the flight. When the air inside the balloon is well warmed, we will rise into the air and fly over the area of Otricoli, a town that, from the top of a hill, dominates the archaeological area below.
This area was inhabited by pre-Roman populations and preserves constructions from different eras, such as the fascinating medieval walls.We will fly over the Tiber and admire the gracious villages from above, with the lush Roman countryside providing the backdrop for the duration of the trip.
We will fly at early morning to take advantage of the best wind conditions. After landing, the staff will offer us a aperitif of wine, cold cuts and local cheeses. This will be a fun opportunity to perform the rite of 'baptism of flight', complete with a certificate signed by the pilot. At the end, the staff will take us back to the meeting point.
The activity lasts between 3 and 4 hours, of which 1 hour of actual flying.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is easy and open to everyone from 8 years old upwards. No prerequisites are required. The only restrictions are for pregnant women and those with walking limitations.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
