Discover theheart of Umbria with a horseback excursion in the Valle del Menotre, a truenatural treasure hidden in the mountains around Foligno, in the province of Perugia.
A local guide will take you on the most beautiful trails, amongst woods, hills and countryside, far from the smog and traffic of the city.
Spend2 hours in total tranquillity, regenerate body and mind and experience the unique thrills of horseback riding, in the company of a wonderful four-legged friend!
What we will do
We will meet at a riding school in Foligno (PG), where the guides will familiarise us with the horses and teach us the basic riding techniques, in case we are neophytes. If, on the other hand, we already have experience on horseback, we can immediately jump into the saddle and set off on our excursion.
We will ride on tranquil country roads, penetrating the woods of the Appennino Umbro and the uncontaminated paths of the Valle del Menotre, named after the river that runs through it. We will be surrounded by green vegetation and will be able to regenerate ourselves thanks to the purifying power of nature.
The horseback riding excursion will lastabout 2 hours in total and will end with the return to the stables.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is easy level and is open to everyone, even those with no riding experience. You can participate from a minimum age of 15 years (even younger if you have a riding licence or certificate).

Beware! Please arrive approximately 15 minutes in advance of the time chosen for the activity.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
