Would you like to fly over the green areas surrounding Milan? Then take part in an extraordinary balloon flight and experience an unforgettable thrill!
This balloon ride, departing from San Colombano al Lambro, in the province of Milan, will allow you to admire the Lombardy countryside from above, offering a sweeping view from the Pre-Alps to the Appennines.
Let yourself be carried by the wind aboard a wicker basket and enjoy a sensational experience: the colourful balloon awaits!
What we will do
We will meet in Sant'Angelo Lodigiano, not far fromSan Colombano al Lambro (MI). We fly early in the morning or at dusk, the times of day when conditions are best for flying.
Once assembled, the pilot will conduct a pre-flight briefing and in the meantime we can watch the operations of balloon inflation. When we are finally ready for take-off, we will climb into the wicker basket. wicker basket and gradually gain altitude.
From above we will be able to see Pavia, Piacenza and with a bit of luck (depending on the direction of the wind), the Grattacieli of Milan. Our gaze will range from the Pre-Alps to the Appennines. It will be possible to glimpse the Po and the typical Lombardy countryside with its fascinating geometries.
The balloon's route is determined solely by the currents and can be different each time. For this reason, each journey is a unique, fascinating and unrepeatable experience!
When it is time to land, we will lower ourselves down to caress the wheat fields. Once down from the basket, we will be handed the flight certificate signed by the pilot and we will be able to celebrate with a fine brunch and enjoy an aperitif based on typical products. Finally, we will be escorted by the staff to the starting point.

The duration of the flight is around 45-60 minutes depending on the wind conditions. The total duration of the experience is approximately 3 hours.
.Who it is aimed at
Ballooning is a suitable activity for anyone in good health.
You cannot fly if:
- you are pregnant;
- you have had an injury or operation that restricts your mobility, or if you are unable to maintain the correct support position when landing (bend your knees by holding on to the handles);
- you are under 8 years of age and under 130 cm tall;
- you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

If you have any doubts, consult your doctor and bring us amedical certificate stating that you are fit to fly.
It is important to remove any doubts about the state of your health, otherwise it could affect your safety and those of the other passengers.

This activity can be carried out all year round on the dates indicated in the calendar (continuously updated).
The balloon flight is an activity closely linked toweather conditions. The day before the activity, the pilot will confirm the course according to the latest weather report. If the weather is incompatible with the flight, it will be suspended and you will be offered alternative dates.
You can book up to a maximum of 8 people to guarantee the activity on the same balloon. For larger groups, please use the 'Request Information' button and tell us your requirements.
Prices vary by week and weekend, morning and evening as follows:
- Monday to Friday - mornings: €189
- Monday to Friday - evenings: €219
- weekends - mornings:€209
- weekends - evenings:€249
Persons who exceed the weight of 115 kg are required to pay a surcharge of 50% of the rate. Please contact us privately for more information.
From 14 June to 16 August afternoon flights will not be operated due to the high temperatures.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
