Tour of the Amalfi Coast by kayak

Enjoy a marvellous kayak tour along the world's most beautiful coastline, from Amalfi to Conca dei Marini, paddling peacefully to discover sea caves, natural arches, lookout towers and villages perched above the sea.

You will be guided by local instructors from the Italian Canoe and Kayak Federation. Thanks to their experience and knowledge of the area, you will be able to enjoy the scenic spectacle to the full, passing through the most beautiful and interesting parts of the coastal perimeter.

Paying paddle after paddle, you will immerse yourself in a unique environment, with its vivid colours and the scent of the sea mingling with that of the traditions and stories that make this land so precious.

What we will do

We will meet in Amalfi (SA), the famous entry point to the Amalfitan Coast. The instructors will hand over the necessary equipment and instruct us on the safety rules and use of the kayak, so that the activity is also suitable for those who are new to the sport.

We will head west and, having passed the beautiful Beaches of Amalfi, we will pass by the Arco degli Innamorati, a natural arch carved out of the rock by the millennial flow of water, whose shape is reminiscent of two elephants intent on kissing. A little further on, we come across the seaside village of Conca dei Marini, home to historic luxury hotels and Sofia Loren's villa.

We will also visit the Monastero di Santa Rosa, famous because the legendary 'Sfogliatella Santa Rosa', a local delicacy, was born in its kitchens.

As we continue sailing, we will encounter breathtaking views and beautiful sights of the villages of Furore and Praiano, the Li Galli archipelago and the isle of Capri with its famous Faraglioni. Finally, we will visit the small but suggestive Grotta Runghetiello with its little beach. Here we can stop for a swim or some snorkelling before heading back to Amalfi.

The activity lasts a total of 3 hours.

Who it is aimed at

This activity is of easy level and is open to everyone, with or without kayaking experience. You must be able to swim, be in good health and not exceed 100 kg in weight. The minimum age to participate is 7 years. Minors must be accompanied by an adult, with whom they will share a double kayak.

Other information

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure time.

All participants will be provided withdouble kayaks, which are very stable and easy to steer. In the case of a group with an odd number of participants, a single kayak will be provided.

The meeting point may vary depending on the time of year. A few days before the activity, you will receive detailed instructions from your guide.

You can use changing rooms, bathrooms and luggage storage at the meeting point.
