Full description
Experience the thrill of walking on a glacier at the foot of Mont Blanc. Starting from Courmayeur, you will immerse yourself in a spectacular environment and enjoy the magnificent panorama that only the high mountains can offer.
Accompanied by an Alpine Guide, you will hike bound in a rope in the presence of rocky ridges and ice pinnacles, discovering breathtaking ridges and vertiginous crevasses, in one of the most beautiful settings in the entire Alpine arc.
This is an excursion with no particular technical difficulties and suitable for any keen walker. It is a simple approach to the austere environment of the high mountains, a dimension waiting to be discovered, capable of rewarding the most daring with immense emotions.
The hike is private, it will be just you and the mountain guide. The participation fee will be divided by the number of participants, from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 6.
.What we will do
We will meet the mountain guide in Courmayeur (AO), at the departure point of the SkyWay cable car, with which we will ascend directly to Punta Helbronner, at an altitude of over 3,400 metres. Before embarking on the glacier route, we will have to put on crampons and a harness (included in the participation fee and provided by the guide).
We will then have a short briefing where we will be given the necessary instructions to carry out the activity in total safety. After which we will be ready to set off on our alpine walk. The length and altitude difference of the hike will be agreed upon according to the participants' physical fitness. The time taken will be 2 to 4 hours.
At the end of the hike, we will return to Punta Helbronner and can refresh ourselves with a lunch at the Rifugio Torino, as well as visit the Crystal Exhibition. The return to Courmayeur is scheduled for the afternoon.
.Who it is aimed at
The activity is easy, involves no particular technical difficulties and is open to any good walker. Taking place above an altitude of 3,000 m, the hike is not suitable for those with illnesses incompatible with high altitudes.
The minimum age for participation is 15 years. Minors must always be accompanied by a parent.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
