You will witness a veritable scenic spectacle, flying over the most extensive plain in Calabria, squeezed between the Ionian Sea and the Pollino mountains. Aboard the basket, just you, the pilot and whoever you want to take with you on this forgettable journey.

What we will do
We will meet nearSibari, in the province of Cosenza, at a point selected by the pilot according to the winds at the time (the address will be communicated to us the day before the activity).
The experience will begin from the very first stages of preparing the hot-air balloon, in which we will witness the ignition of the burner and the big flame that inflates the balloon. Then, after asecurity briefing, we will climb aboard the basket and await the takeoff.
We will fly for about 1 hour, carried by the wind, following aunique and unrepeatable path that is decided by the direction of the currents. Below us we will have the Plain of Sybaris, the marvellous cradle of Magna Graecia, a fertile and luxuriant land sandwiched between sea and mountains.
After landing, a pleasanttoast will follow, accompanied by typical Calabrian products. Finally, we will be given a a souvenir flight certificate and we will be driven back to the initial meeting point by the organisation's vehicles.
The activity will last about 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of easy level and suitable for everyone, from 8 years old upwards (with a height of at least 130 cm). To fly in a hot-air balloon, one only needs to be in good health. The only restrictions are for pregnant women, those suffering from serious illnesses incompatible with flying, and those with mobility problems in their lower limbs.

This activity is exclusive and is intended for private groups of 2 to 8 participants. It can be carried out all year round, depending on weather and wind conditions.
The flight takes place in the early morning or at sunset to take advantage of the best currents. The day before the activity, the pilot will confirm the meeting time and give you the exact address for the rendezvous.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
