Adrenaline and thrills guaranteed with arafting descent on the most impetuous stretch of the Adda. Aboard the dinghy you will challengeclass IV rapids for an extremely exciting adventure and in direct contact with thepower of nature.

In addition to all this, themarvellous scenery of the Valtellina, with its landscapes, will frame this experience and make it truly memorable!
.What we will do
We will meet at the rafting centre in Castione Andevenno, in the province of Sondrio. We will be welcomed by the instructors, we will be provided with the equipment to wear (wetsuit, life jacket and helmet) and we will move by shuttle bus to reach the point on the river that will be the setting for our adventure.
Before boarding the rubber dinghies, we will have a detailed briefing on the basic techniques of rafting and the rules of behaviour and safety to be maintained throughout the activity, and then off we go to challenge the most impetuous stretch of the Adda! The descent involves overcoming a series of rapids, some of which are Degree IV (considered very difficult on a scale of I to VI).
On the way down we will face strong>strong and irregular waves, we will have to dodge rocks, logs and other natural obstacles and try to quickly tame the current by paddling.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is advanced level and can be done from the age of 14 and up. You don't need to be an experienced swimmer but you do need to have good self-control in the water. Recommended for those with previous rafting experience.

This activity can be booked from April to October, weather permitting. Given the particularly intense nature of the descent, it is only possible in determined hydrometric conditions. In the event of less than ideal conditions, the instructors may decide to modify the route or reschedule the activity.
In low season, the activity is confirmed upon reaching at least 4 participants (if you don't reach this number, you may be attached to another group, subject to availability).
If you would like to do the activity at times other than those indicated, please contact us in private and we will try to accommodate your request, subject to rafting centre availability.
On request, it is possible to combine the activity with a wine tasting in a local wine cellar at a cost of €10 per person (to be paid locally).
The shuttle service is available for a maximum of 15 participants. Larger groups will have to provide their own transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
