Come and discover the colours of winter with a 2-hour snowshoe hike from Prato Nevoso, in the province of Cuneo, on a beautiful loop trail through the Piedmontese Alps.
Snowshoeing is one of the best ways to admire the sights, smell the fragrances and feel the emotions that only the mountain in winter can give you: all with snowshoes on your feet
Walking in the snow, immersed in the trails and surrounded by nature, perhaps at dusk, with only the light of a torch to illuminate the route. Rediscoverthe sounds and scents of the forest, regenerating body and mind.
Feeling alive and in communion with the environment: this is what a snowshoe hike is all about!
What we will do
We will meet the guide and the rest of the group in Prato Nevoso, one of the most renowned locations for winter tourism in the province of Cuneo.
After a briefing on the route and the handover of the snowshoes (included in the participation fee, along with poles), we will set off along the route of the snowshoe hike.
We will walk through the fresh snow in the woods, passing numerous viewpoints that we will immortalise with souvenir photos. All around us will be wrapped in the silence and magic of the atmosphere that only winter mountain landscapes can create!
The activity has a total duration of 2 hours - including briefing and preparation - and ends with the return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is ofeasy level and is open to anyone in good health and used to walking in the mountains. You can participate eight years old and up.

This activity can be carried out from December to March, subject to snow and weather conditions, and is confirmed when at least 2 participants are reached.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
