Full description
Enjoy a tandem hang-gliding flight over the Serra d'Ivrea, just a few kilometres from Torino, and fly over one of Europe's largest moraine amphitheatres with an experienced pilot.
You will be treated to a breathtaking experience and a magnificent view of the glacial relief formed millions of years ago and now covered in sumptuous vegetation.
You will fly for about 20 minutes supported by ascending currents and, if you wish, you can try totake the controls of a hang-glider for an extra adrenaline rush!
What we will do
You will meet the pilot in Settimo Vittone (TO) and together you will reach the take-off point in the town of Andrate, a small village at the top of the Serra d'Ivrea.
When you arrive at the site, you will have a flight preparation briefing, during which you will be given all the information you need to perform the activity to the best of your ability. Then you will put on your helmet and harness and, firmly attached to the pilot, you will be ready to take off!
You will only need to run a few metres and the hang glider will take off, relying on the flow of the ascending currents. For about 20 minutes you will fly over the Moraine of Ivrea, a vast relief created by the sedimentation of debris transported by the glacial meltwater millions of years ago.
If weather conditions permit, the pilot will let you try piloting the hang glider, teaching you the basic manoeuvres. If not, you will enjoy the scenery and the thrills of flying in total relaxation until you land near the initial meeting point.
Between transfers, briefings, preparation and flying, the activity will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
Tandem hang gliding is an activity within the reach of everyone, from the age of 14 and weighing no more than 90 kg. All you need is to be in good health and able to make a short run.

This activity can be carried out any day of the year, weather permitting, and will be confirmed when at least 2 participants are reached.
Delight gliding is an activity that is closely linked to weather and wind conditions. The day before the scheduled date, the pilot will confirm the time and course after consulting the latest weather report.
The participation fee includes the video of the experience.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
