In the winter period, the time with the best weather for balloon flights, we organise a wonderful flight in a hot-air balloon over the Dolomites starting from the Brunico area and heading to the sea!
This flight is very long and unusual: you fly for around 3/4 hours and reach altitudes of over 3,000 metres. An activity that leaves an indelible mark on all participants, it will be a unique experience that will be impossible to forget.
Flying in the air aboard the hot-air balloon, we will fly over the entire Dolomites chain, including the magnificent Three Peaks of Lavaredo, admiring them in all their splendour from a privileged perspective.
Directing towards the sea we will be able to land at different points depending on the winds, such as Venice,Treviso or Verona. Once landed, we will all go together to enjoy lunch in a typical restaurant (included in the price) to celebrate the feat we have just accomplished!
What we will do
The take-off point, usually between Brunico and Dobbiaco, will be chosen by the pilot according to the winds to ensure the best flight. The address of the meeting point will be communicated to you a few days before departure. Once at the take-off site, you will be able to help the crew, if you wish, with the assembly of the balloon. This moment is very evocative and will allow you to discover how the hot air balloon works.
We will fly over the Dolomites, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will sight and fly over some of the most famous peaks such as the majestic Three Peaks of Lavaredo, the Marmolada and the Sassolungo heading towards the sea. We will fly for about three to four hours until we arrive, depending on the winds, near Venice, Treviso or Verona.
On landing we will all go together to enjoy lunch in a typical restaurant to celebrate the emotions we have just shared. Once finished, you will be escorted by the ground staff back to the initial meeting point.
Due to the duration of the flight and the distance covered, it is advisable to keep the whole day free for this experience.
Who it is aimed at
To fly in a hot air balloon you must be at least 12 years old (minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian), be at least 130 cm tall and be in good health.
Given the heights reached (over 3,000 metres) we will carry oxygen cylinders on board that can be used if necessary.
Other information
Departure times are approximate and will be confirmed by the Pilot the days before departure together with the address of the meeting point. Due to the special nature of the flight, flexibility is required: the flight will be confirmed when the weather conditions are at their best and dates may therefore change. This only makes the experience even more special!
Important: It is necessary to arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes earlier than the time chosen for the activity!

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
